I've had this phone (KX-TG6843B) for about four months now. So far I have no problems with it, and it has been easy to use. Our previous cordless, from another manufacturer, would only allow one handset to be used at any time, so being able to have more than one person on the phone is great. This set has plenty of features for those who need to toy around with setting and such. Sound is crystal clear as I move around to different floors or rooms of the house. Buttons are of good size and easily readable, and the backlite helps when in a darkend room. The build feels pretty solid. The cost, as with most everything, is high. The parts for these phones are pennies on the dollar. So far (and it's still very early), I'm pleased with this purchase.

I needed a home office phone and this does the job. It has a good speaker phone on the base unit with ample volume. Controls of basic features are easy to use. The phonebook and call history review could use some improvement. Also the headset that comes with the phone is not very comfortable.
